ABOUT THE NEWSROOM
Independent reporting built around traceable sources
Canadian Civic Review is an independent Canadian editorial publication focused on how travel, document and public-policy claims are reported, checked and understood.
Our purpose
The publication separates verifiable records from reaction, imagery and unsupported interpretation. It aims to give readers enough context to locate the originating document, understand its scope and decide what still needs confirmation.
What we publish
- News-style explainers about source verification and public information.
- Visual analysis that distinguishes what an image shows from what a caption claims.
- Practical reading guides for dates, jurisdictions, document types and affected groups.
- Editorial notes explaining uncertainty, limitations and corrections.
What we are not
We are not part of the Government of Canada, an immigration authority, a border agency, a carrier, a law firm or an immigration consultancy. Content is general information and is not legal, immigration or travel advice.
Transparency
The site currently contains no advertising, paid placements, account system or analytics tracker. Supplied photographs are used as editorial illustrations and are not presented as proof of an event or as customer testimonials.
